Tomó el hábito de novicio en 1879 y profesó votos solemnes en 1883, ordenándose de sacerdote en Roma, a su regreso a Chile asume la Rectoría del Colegio San Pedro Nolasco de Santiago. En 1906 fue nombrado Comisario General de los Mercedarios en Bolivia. Falleció en 1936
